This shot was taken a modified Canon T2i and a Stellarvue 130EDT telscope. Photograph the North America Nebula. The North America Nebula (Cataloged as NGC 7000) is a large emission nebula in the constellation Cygnus. The shape of this nebula looks a lot like the continent it was named after and covers an area of more than four times the size of the full moon.

My fascination with the art of photography has been long standing. From the days of film to today's DSLR, I love all aspects of photography. I started taking photos with a focus on landscapes in New England and have since expanded to the same focus in the Pacific Northwest. I am also an avid astrophotographer with a DSLR.
